(Based on the provisions at Point d, Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 85\/2019\/TT-BTC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides, in Article 11 of Decree 152\/2020\/ND-CP and Decision 526\/QD-LDTBXH, the employers are responsible for carrying out procedures to issue work permits to their employees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Vietnamese laws, the employer is the one who has to bear the cost of obtaining a work permit for a foreign worker at the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><b> The newest service fee to apply for work permits for foreign workers<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the latest guidance in Decision No. 526\/QD-LDTBXH dated May 6, 2021 (effective immediately), if a work permit is issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, there will be no charges for the employers. However, if a work permit is issued by the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, the employer has to pay a service fee for it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Article 3 of Circular No. 85\/2019\/TT-BTC also states that the service fee for issuing work permits to foreign workers working in Vietnam will be decided by the People&#8217;s Council of the province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thus service fee for obtaining a work permit is different in each province.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here is service fees for the issuance of Work Permits in different provinces, excluding other costs to complete the application.
