They can be owners, members\/shareholders of the company). Investment visa types are granted depending on the financial ratio of the investors. However, the procedures to apply for an investment visa for foreigners to reside in Vietnam are still cumbersome if they do not have a full understanding of what they should do to process this visa. For this reason, Bistax Law Consulting Company Limited would like to offer you an article about our experiences with these procedures to help you save time and money during the process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Legal basis<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Law on Enterprise No. 59\/2020\/QH14<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consolidated document No. 27\/VBHN-VPQH on entry, exit, and transit of oversea residences in Vietnam (including Law No. 47\/2014\/QH13 and Law No. 51\/2019\/QH14)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circular No. 31\/2015\/TT-BCA, dated July 6, 2015, of the Ministry of Public Security guiding a number of contents on visa issuance, temporary residence card issuance, entry and exit permit, settlement of permanent residence for foreigners in Vietnam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circular No. 04\/2015\/TT-BCA dated January 5, 2015, of the Ministry of Public Security, stipulates the form of documents related to the entry, exit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Decision No. 5551\/QD-BCA-V19 dated September 25, 2015, declares a set of administrative procedures under the handling competence of the Ministry of Public Security.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><b> Symbols and subjects of investment visas for foreign investors:<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the provisions of Article 8, Article 9 of Consolidation Document No. 27\/VBHN-VPQH, investment visas for foreign investors have the following symbols with a range of different staying duration:<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_74\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-74\" style=\"width: 748px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bistax.vn\/eng\/how-to-get-an-investment-visa-dt-visa-in-vietnam\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-74 size-full\" title=\"Investment visa\" src=\"https:\/\/bistax.vn\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/investment-visa.jpg\" alt=\"Investment visa\" width=\"748\" height=\"392\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bistax.vn\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/investment-visa.jpg 748w, https:\/\/bistax.vn\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/investment-visa-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 748px) 100vw, 748px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-74\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Investment visa<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0110T1 visa &#8211;\u00a0 the validity of this visa is 5 years. It is issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of at least VND100 billion or investing in the business fields and areas of investment incentives decided by the Vietnam Government.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0110T2 visa &#8211; the validity of this visa is 5 years. It is issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of VND50 and under VND100 billion or investing in the business fields of investment encouragement decided by the Vietnam Government.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0110T3 visa &#8211; the validity of this visa is 3 years. It is issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of VND3 and under VND50 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0110T4 visa &#8211;\u00a0 the validity of this visa is 12 months. It is issued to foreign investors in Vietnam and representatives of foreign organizations investing in Vietnam with a capital contribution of less than VND3 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><b> Procedures for applying for an investment visa for foreign investors<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An investor visa is an official document issued to foreign investors by a competent authority of Vietnam.
