Regulations on work permit processing time
The estimating time to obtain a work permit is based on its process and regulations. So, the sponsor companies have to follow these things while obtaining work permits for foreign employees.
Stage 1: Submit approval letter to use foreign workers
In order to apply for an approval letter to obtain work permits for foreign workers, enterprises need to submit an approval letter at least 15 days in advance from the date foreign workers expect to work.
The approval letter will be returned within 10 days if the application is valid.

Stage 2: Apply for a work permit
Sponsoring enterprises are asked to submit a work permit application to the licensing authority at least 15 days before the date their foreign workers expect to work at the enterprise.
A work permit can be processed between 5 and 7 working days.
Generally, the time toobtain a work permit can be estimated within 45 days if the application is complete and valid. Sometimes, the application for a work permit can be delayed if there any misses the documents.
Required documents to apply for a work permit

A copy of Enterprise Certification Registration to registrator the need to employ foreign workers.
♦ For foreign workers:

- Criminal record are issued within 06 months from the date of issue to the date of filing for the application.
Documents and papers proving:
– Managers, executives: Proving documents.
– Experts, technical workers: diplomas, certificates, written work experience confirmation letters from their workplaces (overseas agencies, organizations, and enterprises) about the number of years of experience).
- Certified copy of valid passport as prescribed by law.
